Finding that balance is a few steps away ........
Making the choice to seek support is already a move toward rewriting your story. Do you want more out of your life and your relationships? Maybe you’re ready to break old patterns, find healthier coping tools, or become more authentic. I can help.
As a therapist with deep roots in the medical field as a nutritionist, I bring a unique lens to why we soothe old hurts through food, substances, people-pleasing, or overwork. My years as a digestive disease dietitian showed me that physical and behavioral health run both ways — when stress has no healthy outlet, it often surfaces as heartburn, bowel changes, headaches, or inflammation. And those coping habits take their own toll on our health over time.
My years in healthcare shaped how I see the healing process: self-care, values, beliefs, and a strong support system all matter. You have the power to change, but some roads aren’t meant to be walked alone. You deserve an objective guide — someone offering impartial support aligned with your values and grounded in solid health knowledge. Friends, family, and coworkers mean well, but they see you through their own emotional lens.
I’ve helped people navigate the physical and emotional weight of chronic conditions, including:
• Infertility, diabetes, or PCOS
• Gut inflammation (SIBO, GERD, IBS, IBD)
• Post-COVID effects — autoimmune or cardiovascular
• POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)
• EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome)
• EoE (Eosinophilic Esophagitis)
• Organ transplants
• Cancer
• Stroke, Parkinson’s, and other neurological conditions
• Kidney and liver disease
My years in bariatrics — watching patients struggle with post-surgical weight regain and disordered eating — sparked my interest in the link between behavior and emotion. Our weight reflects both genetics and life struggles, and the emotional triggers behind weight changes matter as much as the food itself.
I work with individuals, couples, and families. I also bring personal experience as a caregiver to family members facing serious illness — which gives me a deep understanding of what patients and caregivers carry, long after the diagnosis.
I’ll provide a safe, supportive space for you to tell your story and explore the parts of your past holding you back from a life of connection, wellness, and purpose.
I especially welcome the chance to work with medical professionals, first responders, and caregivers — people who give so much for others and who must find a way to carry on.
If you have questions about the process, or just want to see if we’re a good fit, reach out today. I offer in-person, telehealth, and telephone sessions for your convenience.
